Lyneth Crighton is an accomplished education leader and technology integration strategist at Brescia House School, a private girls' Catholic School in Johannesburg, South Africa. With a wealth of experience in the educational sector, Lyneth brings a unique perspective to her role as the strategic lead for integrating technology. 
She works closely with stakeholders to drive innovative academic excellence throughout all grade levels. Lyneth's approach centres around finding innovative solutions to enhance learning and teaching pedagogy through technology integration, always focusing on the bigger picture of school transformation and change management.

Recognised for her outstanding achievements, Lyneth has been honoured by Microsoft as the Middle East and Africa Region's top educator for using cutting-edge technology in 2011 and as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow since 2019. She is also a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer and a Microsoft Certified Educator since 2015 and 2019, respectively. Additionally, Lyneth is a certified Apple Teacher (2019) and a Google Certified Educator (Level 1 and Level 2). 
Under her leadership as Head of Innovation and Staff Development, Brescia House School has been recognised as a Microsoft Showcase School for the past ten years, with a significant increase in educators being recognised as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts. 
Lyneth's exceptional leadership and expertise were particularly evident during the pandemic, as she led the School's successful transition to remote and hybrid learning, including staff development initiatives and the organisation of various online events. 
Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Lyneth has been actively involved in conducting in-person and online teacher training events across South Africa for the past decade. She firmly believes that a school's success lies in the hands of its dedicated staff, who work collaboratively to inspire academic excellence, foster cultural accomplishments, and achieve sporting success. 
In addition to her educational leadership, Lyneth is also a co-author of a series of textbooks for Computer Applications Technology, a South African curriculum subject for Grades 10 to 12. 
Her commitment to education and technological innovation continues to shape the future of learning at Brescia House School and beyond.
